I know Curry's and Laser and also checked the Argos catalogue. Any other ideas?

id go with argos and take out the extended warranty on it if anything goes wrong with it up to 3 years they give you a brand new one or a voucher to the original value you paid for it

Currys, Laser & Dixons are all owned by the same people now, so prices will be similar.
Can't think of anything else apart from Argos which you already said, oh & Debenhams

TRY dixons on line if they don't have what you want ,i ordered a tv from there it is the same make as the one in currys but £100 CHEAPER, free delivery and returns and repairs are through currys as they are all the same company.

Aldi or lidel cheap but seem to be good for the price , plus if it packs up money back no problem

I'd suggest some of the independent retailers to you,
Though you might expect to pay a little more than usual.
Thank you :)
