As your parents were born in the North of Ireland you apply for a standard EEC passport.

If your parents moved from Ireland to the USA then they would have a case full of documentation, so I'd start there.

Belfast is in Northern Ireland. What is it about you Americans? If you can't get the right country perhaps you shouldn't bother. Hey, only my opinion.

As a US citizen i apologize for the geographical ignorance of alot of us. .. we didnt get too much geography in school. Until you reach college, there you can study whatever subject you want like geography, but in highschool you get a vague overview of the world.
